Potato, Sausage, and Pepper Frittata

My husband made this amazing breakfast for me today.  It was fantastic.  I can't decide if I liked the first piece which was hot or the second piece which was room temperature better.  I guess he will just have to make it again so I can figure it out.

I LOVE this!  The first time I made it I used chocolate graham crackers and will always use them in the future.  The regular graham cracker is good but the chocolate is divine.  I have officially decided to replace my birthday cake with this amazing dish.  

Farmhouse Chicken and Corn Chowder

I love my new Slow Cooker Revolution cookbook by American's Test Kitchen.  I have tried a ton of the recipes and have been very happy so far.  My super favorite is still the ribs but this chowder is pretty good on a cold winter day.  I added a bit to it and books want to make sure that you don't skip on the chipotle chile or the fresh herbs.  Very important...just saying.

These cookies have been named the best cookies ever made by my whole family.  They are amazing and they are slice and bake to boot.

Pumpkin Spiced Baked Donuts

I was so happy to find this recipe on the http://www.blueeyedbakers.com/ blog.  It contains no buttermilk which is one of those things I have not been able to successfully replace yet.  It has been so long since I have had a donut that I get depressed just thinking about it.  Thankfully, this recipe totally cured me.  My whole donut eating family loved them too.  I was not too sure how the olive oil replacement for the butter would work but no one could tell at all.  After a few had been eaten by the whole family, I told them what I used and they all said they would never have quessed.  These donuts are super good! 

BBQ Ribs in the Slow Cooker!

I know you are thinking ribs in a slow cooker....ugh!  But NO!  These ribs are amazing!  My husband loves ribs and he said these are the best ever!  He doesn't want to cook them any other way from now on.  They are so tender and fall of the bone that it is insane.  The final broil really seals the deal.  They look and taste better than any restrauant but they are soooo easy.  A must try for all.
